As with all goggles though, they still require proper care to not only extend their lifespan, but also keep them working efficiently. Read on for tips on how to keep your goggles in top shape.
Rinse
After you have finished using your goggles, it’s important to always rinse them with fresh, clean water to wash off any debris, salt or chlorine. Over time these can build up and damage the lense, plus it keeps them clean for next time!
Dry
After rinsing, resist the urge to chuck your goggles away wet and ensure they are thoroughly dried first. This prevents any unpleasant mould or mildew. Allowing your goggles to air dry works great - but it’s best to keep them away from heat sources or direct sunlight.
Storage
All Swimfit Goggles come with an included protective hard case. This makes a great storage case for your goggles, to prevent any unwanted scratches or bumps to the lenses while keeping the goggles flat – meaning no time wasted trying to untangle the straps!
Store your goggles in the case, ideally away from direct sunlight.
Check
Over time it’s best to check your goggles periodically. If you notice they are no longer fitting right, or are otherwise uncomfortable, check for any damage or wear and tear, and replace if needed.
Anti-Fog Treatment
Swimfit Goggle lenses are treated with ant-fog treatment to prevent them fogging up during use.
Over time this treatment will naturally fade, however you can extend it’s lifespan by taking proper care of your goggles and avoiding touching the lenses directly.
If you notice your goggles begin to fog up, don’t panic – this can easily be fixed with Swimfit Anti Fog spray. Simply spray one spray on each lense and allow to air dry. The anti fog treatment will be just like new again!
